The Town of Huron Zoning Board of Appeals recorded the following formal actions at its July 8 meeting:
• 1231-25SP (Pier Fifty Three, LLC) — Approved. Motion to approve the special permit for the cruise boat Rose Lummis and additional parking carried 5-0 with the condition that a temporary rope fence be installed on the north property line within one week and a permanent split-rail fence within 90 days; SEQRA Type II short EAF Part II was completed and accepted.
• 1233-25A (Barry Rinaldi) — Approved. Motion to allow a pre-built 14' x 28' garage to be placed 10' from the side yard lot line in the A5A district (50' required) was approved 5-0. SEQRA Type II finding recorded.
• 1232-25SP (Donald Davenport) — Approved. Motion to make a temporary storage structure permanent at 9667 Resort Rd. carried 5-0 after acceptance of the short EAF; board included the stipulation that "lighting must not be a nuisance to neighbors." Amy Connelly read the LWRP recommendation letter into the record prior to the vote.
All votes were recorded as AYES: 5, NAYS: 0, ABSTAIN: 0, ABSENT: 1 (Nick Santino). The meeting opened at 7:00 p.m. and adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
