Huron board hears schedule warning for proposed Water District #10, aims for Feb. 4 action

Councilmember Phil Eygnor and Supervisor Dave Fantuzzo reported a recent meeting with farmers and Dave Doyle of MRB Group about forming Water District #10. Town Clerk Tammy Vezzose said signatures have been entered into a spreadsheet and Assessor Roach expected to have a status update the next day. The board indicated a goal of acting on the district at the Feb. 4, 2025 meeting.
Dave Doyle told the board that if the district formation is delayed, the scheduled construction window (currently contemplated for 2026–27 by WCWSA) could move later and the town could risk losing the earmarked funding; the minutes record the board is willing to review signatures and move forward as able.
