The Board adopted several finance and procurement measures during the July 8 meeting. It authorized the School Business Official to invest funds, make transfers, and pay bills in advance of audit as necessary for 2025–26. The Board separately authorized the Treasurer to make transfers and pay bills in advance of audit.
The Board established petty cash accounts with specified amounts (General Fund $50; Elementary Lunch Fund $30; High School Lunch Fund $70; Extra Class Fund $600; Wolcott Street School Office $75; High School Office $75). Additionally, the Board authorized participation in multiple purchasing cooperatives (Sourcewell; OMNIA Partners; BuyBoard; GVEP BOCES; Monroe 1 and Monroe 2 BOCES; Erie 1 BOCES; Keystone; TIPS; and related county contracts) pursuant to General Municipal Law, Article 5A, Section 103 to pursue best value purchasing for district needs.
