South Ogden approves three-year contribution to Washington Terrace senior center

"South Ogden is committing to pay the 6,000 this year plus the CPI and 3% moving forward for the next 2 years of the 3 year agreement," Dixon said, describing the negotiated contribution structure.
Councilors asked whether other cities contribute; Dixon said the arrangement primarily affects South Ogden and that neighboring communities operate separate centers. The resolution passed on a roll call vote.
The funding covers staffing and program costs; Washington Terrace is expected to continue utilities and building upkeep while Weber Human Services maintains programming levels under the interlocal terms.
