Superintendent B. Dorritie told the board the district is still awaiting receipt of the hard-copy 2023–2024 audit report from the external auditor and that the board had agreed to table final acceptance until those documents are available. He also highlighted upcoming events including Parent/Teacher conferences on Feb. 12, the music and drama department’s production of "Spamelot" in April, and the annual Coaches vs. Cancer fundraiser scheduled for the coming weekend. Dorritie also noted Hartwick College’s VITA program scheduled for March 28 and reminded the board that a student ex‑officio Board of Education member should be in place by July 1.
Building Principal J. Mushtare reported operational items (Regents exams next week; 3–8 state test simulation) while Transportation Supervisor J. Kessler said bus operations are running smoothly, mentioned delivery of a new bus on Feb. 27 and discussed the idea of purchasing three new diesel buses next year. The minutes record no public objections; the 2023–24 audit remains pending as a distinct agenda item.
