At the Sept. 9 work session, Board member Tessa Connelly introduced a multi-policy packet for review. She listed first reads including Policy 5661 (Wellness), Policy 5681 (School Safety Plans), Policy 5683 (Evacuation, Lockdown, and Emergency Dismissal Drills), Policy 7220 (Graduation Requirements), Policy 7223 (Advanced Coursework), Policy 7224 (Virtual Instruction), and Policy 7470 (Student Government).
Connelly also presented second reads covering Policy 6530 (Employee Assistance Program), multiple leave-related policies (Policies 6550–6552 addressing Leaves of Absence, FMLA, and USERRA), Policy 6570 (Remote Working), Policy 7513 (Medication and Personal Care Items), and Policy 7521 (Students with Life‑Threatening Health Conditions).
