Jean Fagan, director of special education, introduced Sarah Houser as a parent caregiver and professional in related services and recommended her appointment to the North Region SELPA Community Advisory Committee (CAC) to provide parent representation and input into the SELPA local plan.
Sarah Housers role will include attending monthly CAC meetings and participating in subcommittees to gather parent input that informs the SELPA director and member districts. Trustee Rishi moved to appoint Houser; the motion was seconded by Max and carried 5-0.
