Tammy Mullen described a separate complaint about a house at John and Burgoyne that was deemed uninhabitable after a fire‑alarm incident, then accumulated piles of garbage; she said Code Enforcement (Will Celeste) has not returned calls and that local efforts have made little progress. Trustee Horrigan explained the village cannot enter private property and clean it up without legal authority or ownership, and Mayor Barton said he would speak with Code Enforcement to determine next steps. Multiple speakers at the meeting voiced frustration about response times and follow‑through.
