Town lists two surplus trucks, sets sealed-bid deadline and accepts budget timeline

Highway Superintendent Kevin Denton told the board the town will accept sealed bids for two surplus vehicles: a 2012 Ford 250 4x4 (regular cab, 8-foot box, automatic transmission, mileage 92,049) and a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 (regular cab, 8-foot box, automatic transmission, mileage 12,526). Bids will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on Sept. 5, 2025 and will be opened at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 8, 2025 in the Town Hall conference room.
The board also accepted the Supervisor's budget timeline and moved the regular September meeting to Monday, Sept. 8, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. The minutes list no reserve prices or minimum bids; the process described is sealed bids with public opening on the date above.
