Board adopts 2025 wage plan, holiday schedule and multiple resolutions

At its Dec. 10 meeting, the Town of Lewis board passed a package of administrative resolutions covering compensation, holidays, and several contracts and project authorizations. Resolution 24-12-1 approving the 2025 wage plan and Resolution 24-12-2 approving the 2025 holiday schedule were both accepted (mover and seconder recorded) with no opposition.
The board also approved additional resolutions: a Dec. 30, 2024 closeout meeting (24-12-3), a Jan. 14, 2025 public hearing to close out CDBG Grant #634HR-314-22 (24-12-4), the Deerhead Cemetery tree removal (24-12-5), the EMS contract (24-12-6), the North Country SPCA contract (24-12-7), the NYSDOT grant RFP (24-12-8), and Lake Champlain Basin Program participation (24-12-9). Motions were recorded with mover/second and the minutes state "0 opposed" for each resolution; three board members were present and two were excused.
