Supervisor James Monty proposed several fee changes at the Oct. 8 Town Board meeting to take effect Jan. 1. He proposed increasing landfill sticker prices from $2 and $4 to $3 and $5, raising water rent from $45 to $60, and increasing dog license fees from $5 and $12 to $10 and $18. Monty said adjustments to code fees will be discussed at an upcoming meeting.
The board did not adopt the fee changes at the Oct. 8 meeting; Monty presented the proposals for future action. The proposals will follow the town's usual notice and adoption procedures, including further discussion at subsequent meetings and any required budgetary review prior to implementation.
