Board authorizes local group contracts, Northern Borders grant paperwork and $7,500 survey from ARPA funds

The Town Board approved a package of routine contracts and grant-related signatures at its March 25 meeting. Supervisor Mahoney moved to authorize the Supervisor to sign contracts with Mountaintop Golden Agers, Greene Room Players, People of Haines Falls and Mountain Cloves Scenic Byways, Inc., for amounts already in the budget; the motion passed with four ayes and one abstention (Councilman David Kukle).
The board also authorized the Supervisor to sign required forms for a Northern Borders Regional Commission grant and approved Contract Amendment #1 for the Ashokan Watershed Stream Management Implementation Program. Separately, the board approved a proposal from Praetorius & Conrad, P.C. for survey and topography services for the Town Hall and adjacent parcel with an estimated cost of $7,500 to be funded from ARPA funds.
