Lewis board approves landfill sticker, water-rate and dog-license fee increases

At its Nov. 12 meeting the Town of Lewis Board approved three fee increases: green landfill stickers will increase from $2 to $3 and orange stickers from $4 to $6 (Resolution 24-11-2); the water usage fee for 40,000 gallons was raised from $45 to $60 (Resolution 24-11-3); and dog licensing fees were revised (Resolution 24-11-4). Each resolution was moved, seconded and carried with no opposition.
The meeting minutes record the landfill-sticker increases and the water-rate increase explicitly in the resolutions. The dog-license resolution as recorded in the resolutions section shows an increase "from $5.00 to $10.00 for a spayed or neutered dog and from $12.00 to $18.00 for unspayed or unneutered dogs."
