Brunswick High information-technology specialist honored as Georgia Rise Award winner

A colleague thanked Moreland for his long service and recounted an incident in which Moreland responded when a teacher tripped over equipment, saying Moreland "came rushing in and saved my life."
Presenters noted the Rise Award recognizes classified staff who "provide outstanding service and lead with excellence across Georgia public schools." The recognition item included a short video and colleagues' remarks; no board action or budget request accompanied the presentation.
