USD #505 approves three hires after executive session

After a brief executive session under K.S.A. 75-4319 the USD #505 board approved hiring Casey Minor as full-time custodian and Matt O'Hara and Tim Strasser as full-time route drivers contingent on training and licensing.
Pursuant to K.S.A. 75-4319 the USD #505 board entered a brief executive session on Aug. 10 to discuss non-elected personnel matters. The motion to enter executive session was made by Shelby Spielbusch and passed 5-0.
After returning to open session the board approved hiring Casey Minor as a full-time custodian and Matt O'Hara and Tim Strasser as full-time route drivers, contingent on completion of required training and licensing. The motion to approve the hires was made by Shelby Spielbusch, seconded by Maggy Robison, and passed unanimously, 5-0.
