Interim Planning & Building Director Jeff Bond delivered an informational update on permit activity for June and July.
Bond said the Planning Department received 14 design‑review applications in June and approved 12; staff also received three ADU applications and approved two. For building permits in June, the city received 86 applications and processed 97 approvals (some approvals reflected carryover from prior months). "In the month of July, we received 25 design review applications, of which 24 were approved," Bond said, and he added the department received four ADU applications and one junior ADU application in July, with one junior ADU approved so far. Bond emphasized that the approvals cited were staff‑level actions for smaller projects.
Commissioners did not have follow‑up public comment on the report; staff offered to provide additional traffic enforcement data for specific streets on request.
