The board approved the accounts payable report for July 2025. "The total payout for the period was $44,471.24," President Robert McLimans reported, with expenditures allocated as $27,589.00 from the General Fund, $7,328.00 from the Water Utility Fund and $9,554.00 from the Sewer Utility Fund.
Separately, the board approved paying one half the cost to replace a sidewalk at 628 4th Street (motion by McLimans, seconded by Alan Mergen). Maintenance supervisor Keith Leitzinger reported infrastructure needs, saying a storm drain on Pleasant Street requires replacement and the intersection of County A and 1st Street will need repair; McLimans asked Leitzinger to obtain estimates to be considered in the 2026 budget.
The board also agreed to coordinate a 2026 budget workshop to review such estimates and capital needs.
