Commission approves TAD bond resolution, CDBG and GEFA engineering contracts

At its July 13 meeting, the Cedartown City Commission adopted Resolution 11, 2026, a supplemental bond resolution for Tax Allocation District (TAD) #1. Commissioners also approved a slate of engineering and grant services for federally and state-funded infrastructure work: RJ Wood was selected for engineering services on the Goodyear CDBG sewer project; Gregory STC was approved as grant writer for the CDBG project; and Turnipseed Engineering was approved for the GEFA Water Infrastructure Planning Program.
Each motion carried with unanimous votes. Commissioners did not record additional conditions in the minutes; staff will proceed to contract negotiations and scope development consistent with each program’s requirements.
