Finance director recommends switching city p‑card participation to new state contract with U.S. Bank

Scott said U.S. Bank offers improved payment and processing integration, greater data visibility, additional rebate opportunities and additional card types, and staff recommended authorizing submission of the requisite application and agreement to transition to U.S. Bank.
Director Garcia asked whether the switch would reduce expenses; Scott replied it would not reduce expenses but could realize a slightly higher rebate. No formal action was recorded at this agenda meeting; staff said the application and agreement will be linked in the board packet for the upcoming regular meeting.
