Will Stelter, engineering manager, briefed the committee on the administrative roof-replacement project and its schedule. "Currently, the construction [is] scheduled for the month of May. We are having a pre construction meeting April 20," he said, and noted that within the overall month there will be a specific week when interior offices must be vacated to allow work on solar tube installations and other interior adjustments.
Stelter said the project has been conditioned to minimize staff impacts and that there will be no construction during committee or board meeting days. He thanked staff for coordinating accommodations and said schedule details will continue to be refined through submittals and the pre-construction process.
