Finance staff posts ERP RFP, aims for system go-live Jan. 1, 2027; audit schedule set

Finance staff reported that the district posted an ERP RFP through the Government Finance Officers Association and anticipates multiple vendor responses and demonstrations as staff evaluates options for an enterprise financial system. Staff said the implementation is a district-wide effort and GFOA will assist through the process.
"They still still think we're on track for July 1, date in terms of getting it installed, getting the data transferred, starting all the training and stuff," a staff presenter said when discussing the implementation timetable; staff reiterated the goal of a Jan. 1, 2027 go-live for full operations. The committee was also briefed on the audit timeline: interim fieldwork started Jan. 27, year-end fieldwork is scheduled to begin March 24, and auditors will present the final audit at the June board meeting.
