Krissy Custer joined the meeting by phone to request a land‑use permit to repair and add bathrooms at 109 State Highway 35 and to extend utilities to two nearby lots. She said the building is a shell with one incomplete bathroom and described plans to sublet sections; each rented section would require bathroom facilities.
Board members approved the permit for the bathroom repairs and authorized extending water and sewer from the main to curb stops at Lots 2 and 3 for future commercial use only. Village officials, led by Leitzinger, said a licensed plumber must perform the installations and the village will bill Custer for the work. Board members unanimously said they would not approve a tiny house on Lot 3 because of its proximity to the wastewater treatment plant and its commercial zoning under Grant County.
