Clerk Atterbury clarified that unlike water rates, sewer rates are not regulated by the Public Service Commission and may be set by the village. The board agreed to postpone a decision until December to gather more precise data on the impact of a 42.35% increase and to explore whether increases could be applied to usage fees rather than the base quarterly fee (currently $61.58).
