Bloomington adopts 2026 budget, increases library funding to $27,040

Village President Robert McLimans presented the 2026 budget and levy information, and the board approved the budget and levy for the 2025–2026 payable year.
Under the approved budget the Village increased its library allocation by 4%, from $26,000 to $27,040. McLimans said Grant County also increased its contribution to $23,412.10 (up from $19,208.77), resulting in total library income of $50,952. The board approved the budget on a motion by Scott Daentl, seconded by Al Mergen, with unanimous consent.
