Union City council approves routine items, sets Trick-or-Treat hours and schedules insurance meeting

At the start of the Sept. 16 meeting, Union City Borough Council unanimously approved the agenda and minutes from Aug. 27, accepted the Secretary's report and authorized payment of unpaid bills. The motions were moved and seconded by council members and carried without recorded opposition.
Council set Trick-or-Treat in the borough for Thursday, Oct. 31 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and scheduled meetings on Sept. 25 at 5:30 p.m. at the city building for council members to review health insurance plans. Council President Riley Cross also noted that while the borough is supportive of Hometown Heroes, the borough is not connected to the organization.
