The Village of Jordan Board of Trustees approved a series of routine financial and administrative actions at its Feb. 10 meeting. Clerk Tina Trapp reported Abstract #17 for a total of $46,125.84; Trustee Bates moved to approve the abstract and Trustee Stapleton seconded. According to the meeting record, "Clerk Trapp gave a report of Abstract #17 for a total of $46,125.84" and all present voted in favor.
The board also approved engaging the law firm Costello, Cooney & Fearon for 2025 after Mayor Brim requested the engagement agreement be adopted. Trustees voted unanimously to approve the agreement. Separately the board authorized an additional $10,000 for the village accountant to enter, reconcile and file the Annual Financial Report for 2023–24. Trustee Stapleton moved the accounting authorization and Trustee Bates seconded; the motion carried with all present voting in favor.
