Jordan board introduces Local Law C to amend Locktenders Landing rules, approves FEAF parts 1–3

Mayor Brim asked the board to introduce Local Law C-2024 to amend the Planned Development District regulation for Locktenders Landing concerning habitable space for one-family detached dwellings. Deputy Mayor Gustafson moved and Trustee Stapleton seconded the motion; the board voted unanimously to introduce the law.
The board reviewed and approved the Full Environmental Assessment Form (FEAF) parts 1, 2 and 3 required for Local Law C. The board set a public hearing on Local Law C for Sept. 9, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. Trustee Simko (recorded in the minutes as "Sinko" in one line) had previously participated in related discussions; the minutes do not describe substantive debate on the amendment itself during the Aug. 26 meeting.
Also at this meeting the board accepted the resignation of Sandy (Milton) Leader from the Zoning Board of Appeals and approved routine motions to pay bills and file correspondence.
