At the regular meeting, Deputy Mayor Gustafson moved and Trustee Stapleton seconded a motion to approve Local Law 4 No. C-2024 pending county approval and to hold a special meeting on Monday, Sept. 16, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. All present voted in favor and the motion carried. Developer Sal Sciuga Jr. told the board he has five subdivided lots remaining in Locktenders Landing and said he is awaiting the local-law approval so he can begin a marketing campaign to sell those lots.
The action does not constitute final county approval; trustees explicitly linked the village vote to the county review process by approving the local law pending county sign-off and scheduling a follow-up meeting. The board took no further formal land-use votes on Sept. 9.
