Italy board authorizes up to $20,000 in geotechnical borings for culvert repairs

Ryan Frykholm of Disaster Recovery Partners told the board that "The purpose of the Geotech borings is to locate a rock base to support the repairs." The borings are intended to support engineering designs required for FEMA funding and to ensure that repairs rest on adequate bedrock. The board’s action moves the town from assessment into pre‑construction engineering for these damaged segments.
