Town of Junius adopts 2026 budget after wage amendment for court clerk

Councilman Kyle Black moved to adopt the budget and to amend the court payroll to set Clerk #2 at $24.85 per hour; Councilman Rick Wadhams seconded both motions. The amendment passed 3-1 (Aye 3; Nay 1; Absent 1) with Supervisor Ernie Brownell recorded as opposing the wage amendment. The final budget adoption passed 4-0 (Aye 4; Nay 0; Absent 1).
