SLA revokes Jacaranda Club license and bars location after ALJ sustained prostitution‑related charges

The Authority considered the ALJ’s hearing report and sustained findings of misconduct at the Jacaranda Club (multiple sustained violations reported by the administrative law judge). Commissioners concluded the facts in the hearing record were serious and unacceptable and voted to revoke the license and impose a two‑year prohibition on the location and a name‑stop for the establishment.

Counsel for the respondent presented post‑hearing submissions but the board stressed that fact‑finding had already been conducted in the ALJ proceeding and that penalty deliberations were limited to sanction. The board voted unanimously for revocation and a two‑year location prohibition; the decision will be entered as the final board order and licensing staff will follow enforcement procedures to effectuate the revocation.
