The Little Flower Union Free School District Board of Education voted unanimously Dec. 10 to determine the district's participation in the state's regionalization planning process under Subpart 124-2.8 of the Commissioner of Education's regulations. Frank Caliguiri moved the measure, Marilyn Adsitt seconded, and the vote was 9-0.
The minutes record this summary of the Commissioner's letter and the board's position: "must submit in writing January 15 whether to participate-Little Flower will not be opting out." The minutes also note statewide and regional updates reported by the superintendent and staff. (The meeting attendance header lists Superintendent Harold Dean as absent but the minutes later state he led the pledge and delivered the superintendent's report.)
