The Little Flower Union Free School District Board of Education unanimously accepted the independent audit for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, at its Dec. 10 regular meeting. Corinne Hammons moved to accept the audit prepared by Cullen & Danowski LLP; Steven Gellar seconded and the motion carried 9-0.
Alan Yu of Cullen & Danowski reviewed the district's financial statements during the meeting and reported "no new findings or recommendations presented." The auditors left the meeting at 4:11 p.m. The acceptance was recorded as a formal board action; the board's minutes show brief praise in the public forum for the result.
