Patrick Killen moved that the Public Safety Committee enter executive session to discuss (1) the employment history of a particular individual or individuals and (2) matters that would imperil public safety if disclosed. The motion was seconded by Leigh MacKerchar and the minutes record the vote as unanimous. The meeting was adjourned at 1:50 p.m.
The minutes list attendees for the executive session as members of the Legislature and specified staff (Director of HR and the County Administrator) for the personnel item, and additional public‑safety personnel (the Sheriff, Undersheriff, Chief of Corrections, Building and Grounds Supervisor, Senior Communications Mechanic and Chief Dispatcher) for the public‑safety item.
