HR reports wellness services, recruitment update; committee to consider biometric screening contract

Kerry Brennan, Human Resources, updated the committee on employee-relations initiatives, community-giving and an upcoming 2026 benefits fair. Brennan said recruitment videos and outreach yielded positive feedback and provided a July recruitment and turnover report.
The committee was asked to advance resolutions including authorizing the chair to sign an agreement with Integrated Health 21 for HealthyU Max biometric screening services and to appoint John Christensen as Democratic Election Commissioner. After discussion and edits there were no official objections to moving those resolutions to the Legislative meeting.
Brennan also referenced ongoing employee-retirement and deferred-compensation meetings and a third-quarter HR newsletter.
