Public Health project walls are up; county plans Air Handler 12 bid this month

Joe Reed, Buildings & Grounds, told the Public Works Committee that interior work on the county Public Health project is progressing: walls and drywall are up and crews are finishing drywall and electrical installations.
Reed said the county intends to "get out to bid this month" for Air Handler 12, with an award potentially in September or October. He cautioned the schedule is subject to weather and vendor lead times, which could delay completion this year.
The project moved forward as information to the committee; no formal vote was recorded at the Aug. 3 meeting.
