Chad Pierce presented the IT report, saying the county logged 344 help-desk tickets in July, roughly 100 fewer than the previous month. Pierce reported that the county completed its email migration to Microsoft Office 365 and that standard operating procedures documentation was approximately 50% complete.
Project management implementation was listed as about 30% complete. Pierce also said the county had not yet started creating a cybersecurity incident response plan and that a website refresh and in-place redesign were roughly 5% complete. The committee reviewed a proposed contract with ePlus Group, Inc. for Varonis Data Lifecycle Automation software and discussed advancing the authorization for the chair to sign the agreement.
Committee Chair Pat Killen asked whether the contract authorization should proceed; after discussion and edits there were no objections to moving the item to the Legislative meeting.
