Placentia introduces new public‑works maintenance worker and building‑inspection manager

Public Works maintenance worker Raul Carreon was recognized for his background maintaining Riverside County flood control channels and for holding a Class A driver’s license. "Please join me in welcoming maintenance worker Raul Carreon to the Placentia team," staff said. Carreon spoke briefly, thanking the council.
The council also introduced Building Inspection Manager Jim DeMaria, whose background includes professional baseball and work in product design and construction. Staff described DeMaria’s role training new inspectors and supporting the city building official; DeMaria said he was "glad to be here."
