The Borough Council considered two event permits from the Greater Pitman Chamber of Commerce for Oct. 11, 2025: a Brews Cruise Bikathon (10 a.m.–1 p.m., West Jersey Ave) and a Brews Cruise Beer Garden (12 p.m.–5 p.m., Theatre Ave Pocket Park). Administrator McCafferty told council that insurance certificates, which had been listed as pending, were received that afternoon. Councilwoman Guarni moved the permits and Council President James seconded.
The roll call on the action recorded Council President James, Councilwoman Guarni, Councilman Mazzola and Councilman Uyehara voting Yes; Councilman Fitzpatrick abstained on the vote. The minutes list the applicant contact as John Fitzpatrick and note the permits will be voted on in September in prior discussion of a different park event; at this meeting the insurance update allowed council to proceed with votes on the Brews Cruise permits.
