Sodexo reports food-service survey responses and plans student engagement activities

Ms. Honts-Stark thanked facilities staff for help integrating a new Hydrovection oven and said the spring food-service survey had collected 133 responses so far; she asked the community to help increase that total toward the previous fall response of 330. "We've collected 133 responses so far, and we're aiming to surpass our fall total of 330, so please encourage everyone to share their opinions," she said. Honts-Stark also thanked Lincoln County School District staff for a tour of their garden-to-lunchroom program and previewed a visit by Sodexo’s regional dietitian and an Eco Recycling/Bite Science activity led by Executive Chef Ryan Sweet at Phoenix and Talent elementary schools.
The activities are intended to connect students to food science and sustainability and to inform possible menu or program changes for next year based on family feedback.
