Kinderhook DPW starts kayak‑launch work, readies William Street watermain and hydrant flushing

David Booth, DPW Commissioner, said crews completed tree trimming, pothole repairs and field rolling at the playground, and began initial work on a kayak launch. He reported two new water tap connections on Presidential Drive and said the department is coordinating with WSP to identify lead service lines.
Booth also said water curb‑stop locates are underway for the William Street project and that hydrant hydro‑flushing is scheduled to begin April 15 at 9:00 a.m. The William Street watermain detailed design is underway, with amendment #2 executed and a project kickoff meeting held on March 31, 2025.
