Owner Josh Mullen described the business as a significant local employer: “We did $4,000,000 in revenue last year with 0.5 of that being food sales,” he told the board while arguing for the restaurant’s community value.
The board’s discussion focused on neighbors’ quality‑of‑life concerns and the repeated nature of past violations. Commissioners pressed for enforceable conditions and fines; one commissioner said a cancel‑and‑bond counteroffer would be issued if the licensee failed to accept stipulations or if future violations occur. The board approved the stipulated disposition on a split vote, recording fines and requiring immediate implementation of the agreed sound and security measures, and set a short monitoring period during which further breaches could trigger more severe sanctions.
