Board adopts district plans including safety and student code of conduct

At the Aug. 20 special meeting the Little Flower Union Free School District Board of Education voted 6-0 to adopt a set of district plans and manuals. The motion to approve the District Guidance Plan, District Safety Plan, District Physical Education Plan, District Professional Learning Plan, Student Code of Conduct and School Business Procedures Manual was moved by Corinne Hammons and seconded by Steven Gellar.
Board members did not record extended discussion in the meeting minutes on the specifics of each plan; the motion was handled as a single approval motion and carried unanimously. The approvals will guide safety, instruction, professional learning and business procedures for the 2024–25 school year.
