At the Buffalo portion of the hearing the representative for Old Country Bakery (Izzas Egariva) and the applicant Elvia Magali Vargas answered questions about an expired temporary permit and a four-month gap in operation. Licensing staff noted the record showed a temporary permit issued on Dec. 20 after an August expiration and advised the board that the license would be conditioned on a lease amendment covering the license period.
Commissioners asked about hours and operation; the applicant said the establishment will offer breakfast and close at 10 p.m. Board members explicitly approved the application with the conditions that the lease be amended and a bathroom-waiver be filed, and allowed background recorded music. The clerk said the applicant would receive a conditional approval letter outlining the items required before final licensing.
