After reviewing multiple proposals the Town Board voted to award the library's heat-pump contract to High Peaks Heat Pumps.
The resolution (77-2025) approves the award contingent on "receiving a clean proposal with the upgraded equipment and upgrade to the electrical service to 200 amps." Chair Teresa Cheetham-Palen summarized the procurement review, saying High Peaks Heat Pumps "hit everything that was needed." The motion was introduced by Robert Biesemeyer and seconded by Christopher Daly; the minutes record ayes from Cheetham-Palen, Hough, Biesemeyer and Daly and no nays.
The award is subject to receipt of the clean, upgraded proposal and the electrical upgrade requirement; the town did not set a contractor start date in the minutes and asked for the final proposal language to be provided before the contract is finalized.
