Trustee Stapleton reported that the Kingston Road water project has started and that some initial site work has been completed. He said the municipalities involved are working on an intermunicipal agreement and that consulting firm Barton & Loguidice will prepare flyers to keep residents informed.
The board approved a Highway Work Permit for portions of the joint water project affecting Highlander, Rte. 317 and Rte. 5. Trustee Stapleton said the permit was approved by motion of Deputy Mayor Gustafson and seconded by Trustee Stapleton; minutes record the vote as unanimous. The board also approved a water service application for 373 Brutus Rd during the same meeting.
