Jordan trustees approve abstracts, vehicle repair transfer and multiple permits

The Village of Jordan Board of Trustees unanimously approved financial and operational items during its Oct. 28, 2024 regular meeting, including two abstracts and several permits and transfers.
Clerk Tina Trapp reported Abstract #9 for $62,022.44 and Abstract #10 for $123,159.21; Deputy Mayor Gustafson moved to approve both abstracts and Trustee Simko seconded. The board voted in favor and the motion carried. Later in the meeting, Mayor Brim asked the board to approve a transfer of $1,673.23 from DPW Reserves to Vehicle Repair to fix the bumper on the village's F550 truck; Deputy Mayor Gustafson moved and Trustee Bates seconded, and the board approved the transfer unanimously.
The trustees also approved a Highway Work Permit for the joint water project affecting Highlander, Rte. 317 and Rte. 5 after a motion from Deputy Mayor Gustafson and a second from Trustee Stapleton. The board approved a water service application for 373 Brutus Rd (motion by Trustee Stapleton, seconded by Trustee Simko) and granted four peddler's permits to Nextgen Contracting/Verizon (motion by Trustee Bates, seconded by Trustee Simko). All motions recorded in the minutes passed with unanimous votes.
The meeting closed routine business by approving payment of bills and filing correspondence on a motion by Deputy Mayor Gustafson, seconded by Trustee Bates; the motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 8:33 p.m.
