Administrator McCafferty announced at the July 28 work session that tax bills have been printed and "the due date will be extended to September 5th," and that the bills will be mailed by the end of the week. She said amounts due are already posted online for payment.
The administrator cautioned that if a bill is not paid by Sept. 5 interest will be charged retroactive to Aug. 1, 2025. Council members did not debate the extension during the work session; staff will implement the mailing and online posting. Residents seeking more information were directed to the Borough website or the clerk's office.
