"The top priority of Valley View ISD and the state of Texas is keeping students and staff safe every day," Vidal said, and he told the board that while parents and community members may be interested in audit details, specific findings would be withheld from the broader public to avoid compromising campus security. Vidal said the district is working with the District School Safety & Security Committee and conducting staff training and door‑security work; he said detailed audit results will be discussed in executive session and with the Safety & Security Committee.
