Mayor Razze and council members heard several administrative updates at the Borough of Pitman work session on July 14, including a plan to consolidate smaller bond anticipation notes into a single bond issuance to improve the Borough's bond rating. Administrator McCafferty said a resolution about the bond sale will be added to the regular meeting agenda.
Administrator McCafferty also alerted the council to pending legislation that will change how public notices are legally advertised, with an implementation date of March 1, 2026. She said, "Updates will be provided as information becomes available." Council members were invited to indicate interest in registering for the League of Municipalities conference Nov. 18–20 in Atlantic City; Administrator McCafferty asked members to let her know if they want to register.
